Jacob "Jake" Horrace Greene

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Jacob "Jake" Horrace Greene Jacob "Jake" Horrace Greene, 77, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully on March 07, 2023 at his home. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Odus and Margaret Greene and was preceded in death by a brother, William Greene. Jake was a member of David Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, RA Teacher, and custodian. He served honorably in the US Army. Jake worked in the textile industry for many years and retired from East Elementary School where he worked as a custodian. He was a talented wood worker but his passion was lawn care. He spent many hours outside making sure his lawn was well cared for and beautiful. Jake enjoyed spending time with his family and friends whom he loved very much. His guidance, friendship, and love will be greatly missed by everyone who knew Jake.
