James Cavney Allen Jr., 72, of Shelby, NC, passed away on March 09, 2021 at Hospice at Wendover. He was born in Cleveland County to the late James Cavney Allen and Edna Earle Grigg. He was a graduate of #3 High School where he was the Captain of the basketball team. He was a diehard North Carolina Tarheel fan and Atlanta Braves fan. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
