Jim, "Mike", was born in Newton, KS. He was the son of the late James F. Chaffee, Jr. and Lora Keady Chaffee. He was also preceded in death by his brother Dan Chaffee. He was a veteran serving in the United States Navy. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. He loved history and he was retired after more than 30 years of service in the trolling motor industry. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
