JAMES "JIM" THOMAS CURTIS, JR.

- James "Jim" Thomas Curtis, Jr., age 83 resident of Shelby, NC passed away peacefully on December 21, 2016 at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC. He was born in Avery Co., NC to the late James Thomas Curtis and Johnsie Clark Curtis. He was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Jim was former owner/operator of a roofing company in Flint, Michigan and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a wonderful and loving man who treated everyone the same. He loved and respected all people and everyone who knew him, loved him. Special thanks to everyone who assisted in Jim's care, especially Jeff Brayboy.
