James William "Bill" Lovelace

BILL LOVELACE - James William "Bill" Lovelace, age 89, resident of Grover, NC and recently of Summit Place, Kings Mountain peacefully passed away May 27 at Hospice House of Kings Mountain. NC. He was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late William Greenberry and Lula Allen Lovelace. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Sylvester, Chivous, Roscoe, Sidney, and Frank Lovelace, and sister Marsilla Proctor. He was a mechanic and retired from Kings Mountain Mica. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Grover and enjoyed spending time with his family and working in his garden.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 68 years: Barbara VanDyke Lovelace, Kings Mtn, NC Son: Edward Lovelace and wife Brenda, Kings Mtn. NC Grandchildren: Todd Lovelace and wife Kelly, Kings Mtn. NC Erin Lovelace and husband Daven Hunsicker, Asheville, NC Great Grandchildren: Erin Thompson and husband Neil, Samantha Rikard, Luke Rikard. Great Great Granddaughter: Kaytlin Thompson Numerous nieces and nephews.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Grover, NC Wednesday, May 30, 2012 2:00 P.M. Rev. John Barnhardt, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, May 29, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
