James E. Odoms

JAMES E. ODOMS - James E. Odoms, age 68, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died August 19, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Aileen Odoms Miller. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Miller. He was a member of First Wesleyan Church, Kings Mtn. and the American Legion Otis D. Green Post 155. He retired from Snider Trucking, Charlotte, NC after 15 years of service. He served in the United States Army in Korea. Mr. Odoms loved his children and grandchildren and his computer.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 50 years: Dianne Moore Odoms, Kings Mtn. NC Son: Terry Odoms and wife Julie, Lake Wylie, SC Daughter: Sherryl O. Adams and husband Shane, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: Ronnie Miller, Kings Mtn. NC 5 Grandchildren: Tiffany Shockley, Haley Adams, Thomas Odoms, Kristen Odoms, Kaden Odoms

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Thursday, August 22, 2013 3:00 P.M. Rev. Eddie Gray, officiating.
