JAMES H. PAGE - James H. Page, age 93, resident of Morningside Assisted Living in Gastonia, formerly of Blacksburg, SC and Kings Mountain, NC, died May 21, 2011 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC. He was born in Lincolnton, NC, son of the late Harry and Addie Mae Hoover Page. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mary Love Bettis Page, brothers, Harry E., George C. and Paul E. Page, sisters, Mary Haigler, Anne Webster, his twin sister Jane Little and Addie Mae Elomaa. He was employed by the Margrace Mill, Kings Mountain in the Shipping Department and after retirement was employed by Eagle Roller Mill, Shelby, NC. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Earl, NC where he was a former deacon and was also a former member of the Kings Mountain Kiwanis Club. Mr. Page was a WW II veteran serving in the United States Army. He had his casket custom made with the assistance of 2 family members.
SURVIVORS: Brother: William Hoke "Bill" Page, Mt. Holly Also survived by other beloved family members.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain Tuesday, May 24, 2011 4:00 P.M. Rev. Russ Bradley Rev. Richard C. Little, nephew of Mr. Page.
VISITATION: 3:00-4:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 24, 2011, prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
