Janice Kaye Carswell, 75, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2023 at her home. She was born in Greenwood County, SC, daughter of the late William Coleman Griffin and Frances Elizabeth Patrick Griffin and was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Kenneth Carswell. She was of the Christian faith. Janice was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Patrick and Ronnie Griffin. Janice enjoyed working and owned her own cleaning business for more than 20 years. She enjoyed helping others any way that she could. Janice had a happy heart and loved spending time with her family, especially her devoted grandchildren. She enjoyed the simple things in life; a McDonald's Mocha and biscuit every morning, and a day of shopping made her happy. She enjoyed all types of music and singing, and was an avid animal lover. Her kindness, generosity, and love will be missed dearly by everyone who knew Janice.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Buddy Richards officiating

VISITATION: Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
