Jay Biddix

August 2, 1939 — January 19, 2011

NAME: JAY BIDDIX - Jay Biddix, age 71, resident of 241 Putnam Lake Road, Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital, Kings Mtn. NC. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Ross C. and Frances Hullender Biddix. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Seimore Biddix, Ernest Biddix, and sisters, Pauline Short and Bessie Childers. He was retired from A.B. Carter, Gastonia, NC after 40 years of service. A member of East Gold Street Wesleyan Church, Kings Mtn. where he served as Sunday School Teacher for the Men's Sunday School Class, Usher, and vice chairman of the local board for 20 years. He served in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam Era. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 48 years: Brenda Goodson Biddix, Kings Mtn. NC Daughter: Jayda Biddix Justus and husband Brent, Richmond, VA God Son: Chip Wilson, Kings Mtn. NC Brothers: Clarence "Fuzz" Biddix and wife Betty; J. W. "Nub" Biddix and wife Audrey; Earl Biddix and wife Rachel , All of Kings Mtn. NC Sisters: Betty B. Hughes and Helen Biddix, both of Kings Mtn. NC Brother and Sister-in-law: Charles Goodson and wife Toni, Dacula, GA 2 Grandchildren: John Alexander "Jack" Justus and Graham David Justus. Numerous nieces and nephews. FUNERAL SERVICE: East Gold Street Wesleyan Church, Saturday, January 22, 2011 11:00 A.M. Rev. Daryl Lewis, Rev. Eddie Gray, and Rev. Jim Perryman, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday evening, January 21, 2011 at East Gold Street Wesleyan Church Sanctuary, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
