JB Sisk

JB Sisk, 84, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on August 20, 2024 at Cherokee Medical Center in Gaffney, SC. He was born in Haywood County, NC, son of the late John Lewis Sisk and Mary Etter Ball Sisk and was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Mildred Ann Woody Sisk. JB was also preceded in death by his son, James "Andy" Tippins Jr. and brothers, Sam, Troy, Fred, Mark, and Charles. JB was a member of the Baptist faith. He worked as a carpenter, doing sub contract work and building homes most of his life. JB enjoyed being outdoors, spending time fishing and taking camping trips. He always placed his family first. JB was a wonderful husband, loving father, and caring grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His guidance, understanding and love will be remembered always by all who knew him.

SURVIVORS: Son: Gary Tippins and wife Lucy, Dysartsville, NC

Grandchildren: Gary Tippins Jr. and wife  Brandy, and Mariea Tippins

Great Grandchildren: Johnathan, Haley, and Stephanie Tippins and Jordan and Brooklynn Terry

Surviving Brother: Tommy Sisk and wife Lanna, Richmond VA

Surviving Cousin: Clyde Crawford

Special Niece: Tammy Sisk
