Jd Bolin

J. D. BOLIN - J. D. Bolin, age 91, resident of Grover, NC died October 12, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC. He was born in York Co. SC to the late Ervin Bud Bolin and Nannie Bell Wray Bolin. He was also preceded in death by his sons, Johnny Junior Bolin, Larry Dean Bolin; and brothers, Robert Bolin, Lester Bolin, Carl Bolin, Dock Bolin, Ed Bolin, and Shorty Bolin; and sister, Della Henderson. Mr. Bolin was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Grover, NC and retired from Grover Industries. He was a former coach for the Minnette Mills baseball team. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his church, family, and sports. He served in the United States Army during World War II in Germany and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 67 years: Alma Louise Peterson Bolin, Grover, NC Daughter: Linda Bolin, Grover, NC Sister: Jeanette Robinson 2 Grandchildren: Cheryl Bolin and Kenny Bolin. 2 Great Grandchildren: Amber Bolin and Nicholas Bolin.

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Grover, NC Tuesday, October 15, 2013 3:00 P.M. Rev. John Barnhardt and Rev. David Saldo, officiating.

VISITATION: 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Monday evening, October 14, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
