JEANETTE BARNETTE MULLIS TWITTY - Jeanette Barnette Mullis Twitty, age 89, resident of Casar, NC passed away on May 23, 2016 at the Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Clover, SC to the late Campbell McCarter and Frances Lucy Guin McCarter. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, J. D. Barnette; Ira Mullis; Lawrence G. Twitty, daughters; Patricia Causby, Mary Ervin, Joann Stephenson, Nadine B. Davis; 2 brothers, and one sister. Mrs. Twitty was retired from Putnam Hoisery, Kings Mtn. after 25 years of service. She was a member of Sonrise Baptist Church, Southport, NC. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

SURVIVORS: Son: Jackie D. Barnette, and wife Patti, Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Linda B. Newton and husband David, Casar, NC Glenda B. Fredell and husband Coy, Kings Mtn. NC Sons-in-law: Rev. Bruce Davis, Kings Mtn. NC; Robert Ervin, Kings Mtn. NC; Richard Causby, Shelby, NC Bill Stephenson, Chicago, IL. 18 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, and 14 Great Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 3:00 P.M. Rev. Bruce Davis, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
