Jerry Wayne Whetstine, 74, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 09, 2020 at Atrium Cleveland in Shelby, NC.  Born in Cleveland County,  he was the son of the late Charlie S. Whetstine and Lucy Axsom Whetstine.    He was also preceded in death by brothers Charles Whetstine and Paul Whetstine and sisters Myrtle Bolton Louise Mullis.  Jerry was retired from the textile industry. During his free time he enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, football and baseball.  He also was a avid fan of Western movies.  He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle who will missed by all who knew and loved him.
