JG Richards, 76 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 09, 2017 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Cherokee County, SC he was the son of the late Robert D' Lee Richards and Christine Ledford. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Hettie Rose Patterson Richards; grandsons, Ronnie Short and Gregory Ford; and brother Junior Richards. J.G. was a loving, husband, father and grandfather. He was retired from the textile industry.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, November 13, 2017, 3:00 PM, Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain, NC officiated by Rev. David Tessener


VISITATION: 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home


INTERNMENT: Harvest Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
