Jo Ann W. Costner

JO ANN W. COSTNER - Jo Ann W. Costner, lovingly called Mamaw, age 80, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2014 at Kings Mountain Hospital. She was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Everett Carroll Wall and Azemae Hord Wall. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Jo Ann was retired from Kings Mountain Knit and was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church. She was an active member of Kings Mountain Baptist Church where she sang in the choir until her declining health. She loved her family and friends dearly, traveling, and listening to Gaither music. Heaven gained a precious Angel.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 61 years: Dean Costner, Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Denise Huckabee, Kings Mtn. NC Lori Robinson and husband Jigger, Bessemer City, NC Sister: Patsy Huggins, Gastonia, NC 2 Grandchildren: Buddy Huckabee and wife Jenny, Franklin, NC Brittni Jo Anna England and husband Chad, Kings Mtn. NC 2 Great Grandchildren: Derek England and Braxton Huckabee. A little girl due in March. Her beloved Fur Babies: Jetta and Bella

FUNERAL SERVICE: Kings Mountain Baptist Church, Saturday, February 15, 2014 3:00 P.M. Rev. Tim Whitesides, officiating. VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:30 P.M. Saturday, February 15, 2014 prior to the service in the fellowship hall of Kings Mountain Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
