Joan "Joanie" Frederick

JOAN L. "JOANIE" FREDERICK - Joan L. "Joanie" Frederick, age 60, passed away at her home in Kings Mountain, NC on July 24, 2011 after a long hard battle with carcinoid cancer. She was born in Akron, OH on May 23, 1951 and graduated from St. Sebastian grade school and Buchtel High School in 1969. She was preceded in death by her father, William F. Kuehnling and her son, Eric Archer. She was a Dental Assistant for 30 years and also taught Dental Assisting for 1 year at the Median Dental School in Pittsburgh, PA. Joanie was a very talented artist and enjoyed gardening and her friends. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shelby, NC. A special thanks to Hospice of Kings Mountain for their help and wonderful care. Also, a special thanks for the people of Kings Mountain and surrounding areas for all their love and support provided over the years. Joanie was a fun loving lady, always with a smile that would light up a room.

SURVIVORS: She leaves behind her loving husband of 11 years: Randy Frederick and daughter, Jessica Hull and husband Tom and grandson, Julien. Mother: Mary Louise Kuehnling Sisters: Mary Beth Spencer and husband Rick Carol McCool and husband John Karen Rabbitt and husband Chip Christine Filko and husband Vince Brother: Bill Kuehnling and wife Joanne Mother-in-law: Jo Ann Frederick Sister-in-law: Karen Reese Many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday evening, July 29, 2011 at Billows Funeral Home, 85 Miller Road, Fairlawn, OH

INTERMENT: Rose Hill Cemetery, Fairlawn, Ohio.
