DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA John Wallace Cain John Wallace Cain, 83, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 12, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Greenville County, SC, son of the late John Clayton and Carrie Jones Cain and was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Cain and his sister, Patsy Means. John was a former member, deacon and Royal Ambassador Leader at Macedonia Baptist Church. He retired from ABS Trucking after many years of service as a diesel mechanic. John was a Scout Master and Little League Coach in the Kings Mountain area. He enjoyed playing softball and loved fishing, making many deep sea fishing trips with his friends. John was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him.
