JOHN FORREST - John Forrest, age 87 resident of Kings Mountain, NC passed away peacefully February 28, 2016 at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC. He was born in Greenville Co. , SC. He was preceded in death by his daughter Marlene Moore and a sister Dot Wells. He was a truck driver for over 40 years, formerly employed with Quality Exchange of Kings Mountain. He was a good man who provided well and took care of his family.
SURVIVORS: Wife of 47 years Wilma Forrest , Kings Mountain, NC Son: John Forrest and wife Michelle, Boone, NC Step Sons: Terry Guin, Hartford CT. Keith Guin, Kings Mountain, NC Step Daughter: Theresa Guin, Kings Mountain 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Thursday March 3, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Mountain Rest Cemetery Kings Mountain, North Carolina
Family will speak to friends immediately following the service in the cemetery
