DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA John Martin

John Martin passed away on March 2, 2025, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina at the age of 84. John is survived by his nephew, David Lawson (Angela), 2 nieces, Angie Durham and Martha Hughes and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was born on January 13, 1942, to Ora Howell and Paul Martin in Cleveland County, NC. John served in the Air Force for 4 years between 1961 and 1965. He was a jovial man who loved to sing and enjoyed spending quality time with his family. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date by his family.
