DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA John Henry Moore Jr. John Henry Moore Jr., 65, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 28, 2022 at his home. He was born in Gaston County, NC, son of the late John Henry Moore Sr. and Maggie Austine Chambers Moore and was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Moore and a brother-in-law, Roy King. Johnny made his home with his sister Barbara Jones and her husband David. He loved 18 wheeler trucks and John Deere Tractors. He was an avid music fan and enjoyed listening to all types of music, but his favorite artist was Ray Stevens. Johnny enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty and being around his family. He was a life long member of Chestnut Ridge Church and loved his church family with all his heart. Johnny's job was to love people, and he did it well. His love and compassion for people will continue to live in the hearts of everyone Johnny touch throughout his lifetime.
