JOYCE BLACK STYERS - Joyce Black Styers, age 71, resident of 114 Prim Lane, Kings Mountain, NC died April 5, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. She was born in Cherokee Co. SC to the late Coy Eugene Black Sr. and Sally Louise Moore Black. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Black, and sisters, Shirley Owens and Jean Detter. She was a member of Love Valley Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC and retired from Kinmont, Kings Mtn. NC She was a loving mother and grandmother.

SURVIVORS: Son: Michael Styers, Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Linda S. Green and husband Billy Ray, Shelby, NC Darlene S. Kluttz, and husband Richard Steven, Concord, NC Brothers: Darrell Black, Elmer Black, Dwight Black, and Coy Black, all of Kings Mtn. NC Sisters: Goldie Owens, Alma Heffner, and Marie Mabry all of Kings Mtn. NC Jane Owens, York, SC 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 4:00 P.M. Rev. Ronnie Detter and Rev. Terry Huffman, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. Monday evening, April 9, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
