Juanita Clary Bolin

Juanita Clary Bolin, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2023 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late George and Ruth Collins Clary and was preceded in death by her first husband, Terry Ellison, her sister, Mabeline Merck, and 2 brothers, Fred and W.T. Clary. Juanita was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, worked with children and was devoted to missions and disaster relief. She retired from Lincolnton Hospital after a long career in radiology and nuclear medicine studies. Juanita traveled the world as a military spouse and in the missions field. She was a generous person who always gave of herself, putting others needs before her own. Juanita was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Her kindness, generous spirit, and love will be missed greatly by everyone who knew Juanita.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 17 years: Lawrence Bolin, of the home

Children: Marcylen George Lawton Ellison (Marcia), Glen Burnie, MD and Terry Lee Ellison, Spring Lake, MI

Step Children: Rian Carroll Bolin, Charlotte, NC, and Lynn Berry (Bob), Pittsboro, NC

Grandchildren: Alyssa Renee Ellison, Isabelle Rae Ellison, Maddyson Braylinn Ellison

Step-Grandchild: Laura Kay Berry

Siblings: Annie Oliver (David), Christine Broom, and Charles "Rabbit" Clary

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, May 15, 2023 at 6:30 PM at Bethel Baptist Church, Shelby, NC with Pastor Dr. Tim Sims officiating

VISITATION: Monday, May 15, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 6:20 PM prior to the service at the church

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
