JULIE JOHNSON BRIDGES - Julie Johnson Bridges, age 52, a resident of 100 Marigold Ave, Kings Mountain, NC, went to be with the Lord at her home on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Edmond Maybanks and Margaret Johnson. She was also preceded in death by one sister, and grandson, Tre Hunt. She was an active member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC where she served as Children's Sunday School Teacher and soloist. She was a homemaker, loving wife, dedicated mother and grandmother.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 34 years: Richard A. Bridges, Jr. Kings Mtn. NC Daughter: April Bridges, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: Clifford Johnson, Boiling Springs, NC Sisters: Janice Morton, Shelby, NC Cindy Carver, Kings Mtn. NC and Rhonda McGinnis, Grover, NC 2 Grandchildren: Faith Keller and Jacob Adams. Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Richard A. Bridges, Sr. and Mary Bridges Surfside Beach, SC Also survived by her church family and a host of family and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE: Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, Friday, March 18, 2011 3:00 P.M. Rev. Greg Neely, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:30 - 2:30 P.M. Friday, March 18, 2011 prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

INTERMENT: Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
