Karen Marie (Vernon) Adkins

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Karen Marie Adkins Karen Marie Adkins, 62, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on July 26, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. She was born in Alamance County, NC, daughter of the late Warner Scott Vernon and was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Vernon. Karen enjoyed creating beautiful crafts and DIY projects around her home. She loved spending time at the beach, visiting lighthouses, and cooking. Her culinary talents were enjoyed by everyone who knew her. She could often be found cooking meals for her family and friends. Karen loved her family dearly and cherished every moment she could spend with them. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother whose love and kindness will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
