She was born in Cleveland County, NC and was preceded in death by her mother, Annemarie Katharina Glaab, a sister, Susan Ellen Haney and a brother, Ronnie Lee Philbeck Jr. Kathleen worked in Retail Management. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend who was  often quiet and very kindhearted.  She always enjoyed spending time at the beach.
