Kathy Sellers Armstrong, aged 64, of Kings Mountain, NC, left this world unexpectedly on October 28, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. Born on March 6, 1961, in Greenwood County, SC, she was the cherished daughter of the late Gene and Thelma Burton Sellers and was preceded in death by her loving life partner, Bryan Chambers and her beloved brother, Terry Sellers. Kathy's spirit was as bright as her smile, and her outgoing personality drew people to her effortlessly. She was a joy to be around, finding laughter in the simplest of moments and sharing her infectious humor with friends and family alike. The beach was her sanctuary—a place where she felt most at home, surrounded by the ocean's beauty and the warmth of the sun. Most importantly, Kathy's heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren, and she dedicated herself to creating beautiful memories with them that they will carry throughout their lives. Whether it was through playful laughter or tender moments, she made an indelible mark on their hearts. Kathy was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. However, the legacy of her kindness, humor, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
