Kay Philbeck Hedtke

KAY PHILBECK HEDTKE -Kay Philbeck Hedtke, age 64 resident of Kings Mountain, NC was taken from us too soon on December 28, 2016 at her home. She was born in Cleveland Co., NC to the late Paul Philbeck and Marthell Swink Philbeck. She was also preceded in death by her niece, Kesley Bowman. Kay was a homemaker and former employee of Eaton Corp., Grover, NC. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Grover, NC where she served along with her husband as Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir. She loved to attend church and occasionally attended Midview Baptist Church. Kay enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her precious children and grandchildren. She loved her family very much including her beloved predeceased pets, Brandy, Abby and Daisy. Kay loved everyone and would do anything for anybody.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 23 years: Randy Hedtke, Kings Mtn. NC Son: Alan Hedtke and fiancAC. Amber Owens, Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Lynn Heath Brown, Rock Hill, SC Joann Dover, Patterson Springs, NC Sister: Wanda Bowman and husband Larry, Blacksburg, SC 3 Grandchildren: Nevaeh Martin, Emberlynn Martin, and Journey Martin. Nephews: Jason Bowman, Savannah, GA Jeremy Bowman, Blacksburg, SC Special Friends: Christy Dover, Kings Mtn. NC Janet White, Grover, NC Great Granddog: Kassy.

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Grover, NC Saturday, December 31, 2016 3:00 P.M. Rev. Paul Sorrells and Dr. Tony Fulbright, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:30 P.M. Saturday, December 31, 2016 prior to the service in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Grover, North Carolina

INTERMENT: New Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
