Born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Howard Lee Parker and Margaret Rippy Davis. Step-son of Nathan Davis. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, retired from FMC after 31 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army. He liked camping, enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

VISITATION: 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday night, February 12, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home and at other times at his home.
