Kimberly Heather Ann Stone, 48, of Shelby, NC, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2024 at her home. She was born in New Castle, Canada, and was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Clarence King. Kimberly cared for others deeply and spent her lifetime working in children group homes, after school care, and home health care. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain. Kimberly was a very talented and artistic person. She spent her free time making beautiful crafts, knitting, bead work and plastic canvas. Kimberly enjoyed hiking and long car trips, but most of all, Kimberly enjoyed her family. She loved being around those she loved and her pets. She was always willing to help in anyway she could and always placed others needs before her own. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and daughter who has left cherished memories to warm the hearts of her loved ones.

SURVIVORS: Husband of over 8 years: Timothy Stone, of the home Daughter: Allison Coline Kanipe, Shelby, NC Stepson: T. Steven Stone II, Gastonia, NC Parents: Eric King and Gloria Spence, both of New Brunswick, Canada

The family will hold a Memorial Service on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Reverend Dr. John Sloan officiating
