Larry Kennedy

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Larry Kennedy Larry Kennedy, 77, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 25, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Beulaville, NC, son of the late John Franklin and Betty Jones Kennedy and was preceded in death by his first wife of fifty-six years, Brenda Kennedy. Larry was also preceded in death by his sisters, Ethel Jolly and Maina Lanier, his brothers, Laney and Levon Kennedy and  grandson, Samuel Pinson. Larry was the owner of Kennedy Homes for more than twenty years and worked in the housing industry for many years. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed duck hunting, fishing and gardening. Larry was always active and enjoyed spending time watching his grandchildren play baseball and softball. He was a very generous man and was always willing to help those in need. Larry was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His spirit and love will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.
