DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Larry Dean Martin Larry Dean Martin, 71, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 26, 2019 at The Brian Center in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late John Ross Martin and Annie Lois Sprouse Martin. Larry worked as a carpenter most of his life and loved woodworking well after his retirement. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains and camping. Larry was a faithful Christian who loved going to church and sharing his faith with others. He was a loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with, and being protective of, his loved ones. Larry will be missed greatly by his loving family.
