Laurence S. Ryan

LAURENCE S. RYAN - Laurence S. Ryan, age 87, resident of Sterling House, Shelby, NC died December 29, 2012 at Sterling House. He was born in Washington, DC to the late Harriett Slaughter Bowers. Mr. Ryan was retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 35 years, a member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church, Shelby, NC and volunteered at the Shelby Senior Center as a bus driver for 9 years. He loved music, playing the piano, saxophone, clarinet and spending time with his family.

SURVIVORS: Sons: D. Paul Ryan and wife Rosalie, Lexington Park, MD Neil Ryan and wife Amy, Thomasville, GA Daughter: Kimberly A. Ryan, Grover, NC 6 Grandchildren: Megan, Matt, Jessica, Jannah, Lauren, and Anna
