Lester C. Hord, Jr

LESTER C. HORD, JR. -Lester C. "L.C." Hord, Jr., age 95, resident of Charlotte, NC formerly of Kings Mountain and Gastonia, NC. passed away March 21, 2013 at NC Veterans Home of Salisbury. He was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late Lester Clarence Hord, Sr. and Minnie Baldin Hord. He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. Mr. Hord was owner and operator of The Frame Warehouse, Gastonia, NC. He served in the United States Army and Navy. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his grandsons.

SURVIVORS: Son: Michael John Hord, Sr. and wife Mariann, Fort Mill, SC Daughter: Karen E. Hord, Fort Mill, SC 3 Grandsons: Michael John Hord, Jr., William James Hord, and Dylan Michael Hord.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, March 27, 2013 1:00 P.M.

VISITATION: Wednesday, March 27, 2013 immediately following the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
