Lillian Gail Hooks, 68, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 01, 2022 at Hospice of Cleveland County in Shelby, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late William C. Thrift and was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Hooks, brother, Harold Thrift and a sister-in-law Janice Thrift. Gail was a member of David Baptist Church. She loved being at home around her family. Gail was a wonderful caregiver to her mother for many years. She enjoyed talking about her salvation and loved sharing Jesus with others whether in person or on Facebook. Gail was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter and grandmother. Her love and companionship will be missed greatly by everyone who knew Gail.
