Lillie "Sallie" Butler Hinson

LILLIE "Sallie" BUTLER HINSON - Lillie Butler Hinson, age 98, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died September 18, 2013 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Rutherford Co, NC to the late Edward Butler and Vertie Mae Canipe Butler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Boyce "Curly" Hinson, brothers, Claude "Smokie" Butler; Lloyd Butler; and Guy Butler, and grandson, Jamie Gann. Mrs. Hinson was a former employee of Kings Mountain Hospital and attended church services at White Oak Manor. She was the unofficial greeter at White Oak Manor. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved flowers, animals, and being around people. She made the best homemade biscuits ever.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Charles Benton and wife Sandra, Gastonia, NC Eddie Hinson and wife Mona, Kings Mtn. NC Daughter: Lynn Stuart and husband Jeffery, Kings Mtn. NC 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Saturday, September 21, 2013 2:00 P.M. Rev. Eddie Gray, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday evening, September 20, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
