LINDA GARRIS HAMMETT - Linda Garris Hammett, age 67, resident of 114 Robinson Road, Kings Mountain, NC went to be with her Lord on May 22, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Mack Garris and Maudie Parker Queen. She was a member of the Bessemer City Church of God, she was saved when she was 9 years old. She was a loving wife, mother, and maw maw. She was a beautician, she loved to fix peoples hair, art, drawing, birds, and dogs.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 48 years: Roy S. Hammett, Kings Mtn. NC Sons: Shane Hammett and wife Lynda, Kings Mtn. NC Craig Hammett and wife Ginger, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: Raymond Garris, Shelby, NC Sister: Robin Chapman, Shelby, NC 5 Grandchildren: Jordan Hammett, Natalie Hammett, Carly Hammett, Zachary Hammett, Brittaney Hammett.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Bessemer City Church of God, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 2:00 P.M. Pastor Harold Ashe, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 prior to the service at the church other times at the home of the son, Shane Hammett, 102 Colony Drive, Kings Mountain, NC 28086
