Linda "Lynn" (Hartsoe) Beaver

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Linda "Lynn" Beaver Linda "Lynn" Beaver, 79, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 21, 2020 at Atrium Cleveland in Shelby, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Gus Buren and Cora Gladden Hartsoe and was preceded in death by her brother, Gus Hartsoe Jr., and sisters, Bett Sessoms, Martha Dobbins and Sue Phillips. Linda worked as an inspector with Clevemont Mills for thirty-two years. She was a faithful member of Midview Baptist Church. She had the voice of an angel and blessed countless people with her musical talents. Linda enjoyed camping and spending time fishing with her family. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed playing bingo and sharing her love with the people she cared for. She was Roy's "Jewel" and a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Linda's presence will be dearly missed by her family, church, and friends. SURVIVORS: Husband of thirty-five years: Roy Beaver, of the home Daughter: Dana McCarter (Terry), St. Louis, MO Sons: Bobby Horne (Sharon) and Kenny Horne (Tammy), both of Kings Mountain, NC Step-Daughter: Kim Hooper (Jimmy), Gastonia, NC Sister: Shelby Jean Smith, Blacksburg, SC Grandchildren: Lauren, Lindsay, Savannah, Brianna and Ashley Step-Grandchildren: Brad, Taylor, Anthony, and Lyndi Great-Grandchildren: Lexy, Jaelen, Kynli, and Sam FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Midview Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Rice officiating VISITATION: Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at Midview Baptist Church INTERMENT: A private family interment will be held following the service MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda's memory to "The Least of These Carolinas" at 418 S.
