Willodene Bell, 93, of Kings Mountain, NC, met her Savior on her birthday, March 14, 2018 at her home. Born in Cleveland County, NC , she was Daughter of the late Lee and Lida Hamrick Thornburg and was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Richard Lee Bell, eight brothers and sisters and a son in law, Mike Smith. Willodene was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for many years. She retired from Belks in Shelby, NC where worked as a Seamstress. After retirement, she worked from home making alterations for people in the surrounding areas. Sewing was Willodene's life. She also loved gardening and canning food that she and her husband had grown.

Great Grandchildren: Jamie Greene, Jesse Greene, Mikeal Greene

FUNERAL SERVICE: Oak Grove Baptist Church, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Jim Brackett officiating.

VISITATION: Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service at Oak Grove Baptist Church

INTERMENT: Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
