It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Lucille Camp Williams, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished member of the Kings Mountain community, who passed way on June 20, 2025 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia at the age of 83. Born April 1, 1942 in Grover, NC, she was the daughter of the late Dock Newman Camp and Vera Kitchens Camp and was also preceded in death by her siblings Charlie Camp, Mary Henson, Robert Camp, and Eugene Camp. Lucille lived a life centered around faith, family, and service to others. She was a charter member of Midview Baptist Church, where she not only worshiped faithfully but also served with kindness, humility, and grace. Lucille was a pillar of her community, volunteering her time and heart to organizations she deeply believed in. She dedicated many years to the Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department and was a proud member of the Kings Mountain High School Booster Club, actively cheering on generations of students and athletes as if they were her own. Lucille worked for many years with the Cleveland County Chamber of Commerce, then earned a teaching certificate to serve as Assistant Director at Chapel Grove Daycare. She had a giving spirit, always putting others before herself. Whether helping a neighbor, organizing community events, or offering a warm meal and kind words, Lucille never hesitated to show up for those in need. Above all, she was a devoted wife to her beloved husband of 64 years, Paul, and a loving mother to her daughter Diane, whom she raised with unwavering love, guidance, and encouragement. Lucille will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, service, and community will never be forgotten.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Midview Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Rice and Rev. Gary Teague III officiating

VISITATION: Friday, June 27, 2025 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Midview Baptist Church

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
