Lura Margaret (Gregory) Myers

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Lura Margaret Gregory Myers Mrs. Lura Margaret Gregory Myers, 82, of Kings Mountain, NC, went to be with her Savior on June 6, 2022. Born September 29, 1939 in Baton Rouge, LA, to the late Dr. James and Nancy Gregory and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Edward Myers and sister, Susan Seale. She is survived by her daughter Linda Laine (John) of Kings Mountain; Sons Greg Myers (June) of Greenville, and Jim Myers (Dana) of Shelby; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Jeanne Spragins (Joel); brother James "Buddy" Gregory (Francis) She was a registered nurse, a profession she treated as her ministry. She worked at several hospitals and nursing homes over the years. She was an avid quilter and artist, who also loved working in her flower garden and sharing her hobbies with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Kings Mountain Assembly where a private family service will be held.
