DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Lynn Goforth Wooten

Lynn Goforth Wooten, 76, of Forest City, NC, passed away on May 06, 2023 at Augusta University HHT Clinic in Augusta, GA. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Dorothy Mae Cloninger Goforth and was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gray Wooten and her brothers, Larry and Robbie Goforth. Lynn worked in the cosmetology industry for a short time. She enjoyed collecting antiques and was an avid collector of Fenton glass. Lynn was an animal lover and always had a special place in her heart for her dogs and birds. She was a deeply caring person with a heart of gold. Lynn lived a simple, yet fulfilling life surrounded by the people she loved most, her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother whose lessons and legacy will be cherished throughout the lives of her family.

SURVIVORS: Children: Shane Barnes and wife  Dana, Kings Mountain, NC, and Gray Wooten, Forest City, NC Grandchildren: Lyndsey, Carly, and Ace Barnes Nephew: Jason Goforth (Mallorie Williams)      Niece: Robin Durham and husband Adam

VISITATION: Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
