- Mae Kathleen Parks Lyman, resident of 210 N. Roxford Rd, Kings Mountain age 79, died at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. She was born in Davie County, and was the daughter of the late Clyde Ray Parks and Lillian Prevette Parks. She was a house wife and enjoyed word search puzzles, cooking, gardening, canning and sewing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She attended David Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.
