Maggie Whetstine Lutz

MAGGIE WHETSTINE LUTZ - Maggie Whetstine Lutz, age 88, a resident of Wellington House, Gastonia, NC died May 10, 2014 at Caromont Health, Gastonia, NC. She was the daughter of the late Otis Whetstine and Lela Ford Whetstine. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Essie Jackson. Mrs. Lutz was retired from Globe Manufacturing, Gastonia, NC. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was a very hard worker and very conscious of giving to everyone. She loved to smile and was always very friendly and outgoing. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Wellington House for their special care of their mother.

NC Hazel Vesey, Gastonia, NC 1 Granddaughter: Megan Shealy, Dallas, NC 3 Great Grandchildren: Poppy, Lyncoln, and Zachary.

VISITATION: 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
