DATELINE:  INDIAN TRAIL, NORTH CAROLINA Margaret Cole Dover

Mrs. Margaret Cole Dover, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Indian Trail, NC, on the afternoon of February 20, 2022, in the company of her granddaughter. She did, however, make a point to stay with us long enough to enjoy one more First Baptist Church of KM Sunday Sermon with Brother Chip, via YouTube Livestream. Diagnosed with Lung Disease more than ten years ago, Margaret viewed this information more like a sign that might read: "Do Not Put Fingers Thru Fence as Dog May Bite", than a medical diagnosis. So, of course, she went on minding her business, tending to her relationship with Christ, and caring for her family. This served her well as her symptoms were mild and she had few exacerbation's. In her last six weeks, as her lungs began to collapse, she took it in stride. Her only complaint: "I hate to bother you..." Margaret was the daughter of the late Clyde Cole and Mary Everhart Cole, and was the widow of the late Floyd W. Dover. She is preceded in death by her two sons, Tom and Joe Dover, and her sister Virginia "Ginny" Cole. Survivors include her daughter (in law and love), Shirley Dover of Columbia, SC; grandson Tommy Dover of Kings Mountain, NC; granddaughter Erin Dover and grandson (in law and love) Ray Nilssen of Indian Trail, NC; grandson Paul Painter and granddaughter (in law and love) Marsha Painter of Honolulu HI; and great-grandchildren Jordan, Christian, Jacynda, Elijah, and Madison.
