NAME: MARGARET LYBRAND NAVY - Margaret Lybrand Navy, age 92, a resident of Charlotte, formerly of Kings Mountain, died May 29, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center Mercy Hospital in Charlotte. She was born in Cleveland Co., NC, daughter of the late James Austin Lybrand, Sr. and Ferrie Jane Ross Lybrand. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Franklin Austin Navy, a great-granddaughter, Eliana Brynn Navy and a brother, James Austin Lybrand, Jr. Mrs. Navy and her husband were former owners and operators of The Pastry Shop in Charlotte. She was a talented cake decorator having made cakes for many Charlotte weddings. She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Kings Mountain and a lifelong member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW Post # 1160 in Charlotte. Margaret truly loved her family and enjoyed time spent together.

4 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain Monday, June 2, 2014 3:00 P.M. Rev. Tom Jolly, officiating

VISITATION: 1:30-2:30 P.M., Monday, June 2, 2014, prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, King Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
