Margaret Katherine (Payseur) Wilson

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Margaret Katherine Payseur Wilson Margaret Wilson, age 96, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Peak-Cherryville with her family by her side. Margaret was born on the 24th of May, 1922, in Kings Mountain, to the late Dorus Clay Payseur Sr. and Myrtle Smith Payseur. She was a life long member of Grace United Methodist Church (KM) where she stayed active until her health declined. Margaret retired from the city of Kings Mountain after over thirty years of service. Margaret loved her family and had a passion for God. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband who loved her dearly, Sgt. Furman Wilson and her brothers, Carl Payseur, Dorus Clay Payseur Jr. and sisters, Coleen P. Price and Helen P. Vaughn. Margaret is survived by her son, Walter "Jeep" Wilson and wife Tonya of Kings Mountain, grandsons, Dr. Micheal Scott Wilson and wife Dr. Kelly Wilson of Charlotte and Adam Clay Wilson of Kings Mountain who spent many years taking care of Margaret while she was at home and she adored her great grandsons, Hudson Luke Wilson and Cohen Burke Wilson of Charlotte, her sister, Doris P McGinnis of Kings Mountain and nieces and nephews.
