NAME: MARGIE G. PETERSON - Margie G. Peterson, age 86, a resident of Gastonia, formerly of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2015 at Carolinas Continuing Care in Kings Mountain. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late John Gordon and Minnie Gordon Gaffney.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles "Pete" Anthony Peterson, brothers, Yates and Gus Gordon and sisters, Estelle Pennington, Ossie Owens. She was a homemaker, formerly attended Faith Baptist Church in Kings Mountain and an avid animal lover. Margie loved to cook, bake and care for her family.
