Marie H. "Granny" Biddix

MARIE H. " GRANNY" BIDDIX - Marie H. "Granny" Biddix, age 90, a resident of Kings Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2014 at White Oak Manor. She was born in Porterdale, Ga., daughter of the late John T. and Lila Howe. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William "Seimore" Biddix. She was retired from the textile industry and a member of East Gold Street Wesleyan Church, Kings Mtn. NC for over 65 years. Marie loved cooking, working puzzles, babysitting, fishing, reading her Bible and listening to gospel music. She was a loving wife, mother, and Granny.

NC; Recie Biddix and companion, Ken Sansing, Kings Mtn. NC Sister: Juanita Rector, Shelby, NC 8 Grandchidren: Bob Hall, Chad and Brad Carpenter, Chris Harris, Dawne Ledford, Angie Leeper, Todd Parker, Jake Sansing. 13 Great Grandchilren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: East Gold Street Wesleyan Church, Sunday, October 5, 2014 2:00 P.M. Rev. Scott Whitney and Rev. Eddie Gray, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
