Marion Kay Cloninger, 70, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully on October 08, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Conway, AR, and preceded in death by her mother, Betty Mobbs Kyzer, sister, Cookie Jenkins, and a great granddaughter, Savannah Jade Rudisill. Kay enjoyed cooking and spending time fishing. She was an avid reader and a fan of old westerns, especially Gunsmoke. The center of Kay's life were her family and enjoyed spending every moment she could with them. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose love, friendship and guidance will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 34 years, Scott Cloninger Children: Jimmy Deaton, Sandy Wiley (Bill), Tammey Deaton, and Brian Cloninger Grandchildren: Heather Gross (Robert), Adam Ramsey, Craig Deaton, Tommy Rudisill (Annie), Haleigh Ledford, Lynzie Freshour (Matt), Four Farmer (Katie), Jackson Cloninger, Hope Cloninger, and Emma Cloninger Great Grandchildren: Zoeie Ramsey, Riley Ledford, Zola Greene, Justice Ramsey, Addisyn Ramsey, Cayleigh Rudisill, Andrew Freshour, Isaac Thompson, Mason Rudisill, Austin Gross, Makynzie Freshour, Lincoln Ledford, Logan Gross, Bennett Freshour, and Maverick Farmer

FUNERAL SERVICE: Kay's family and friends will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later time
