Martha Elizabeth (Foster) Adams

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Martha Elizabeth Adams Martha Elizabeth Adams, 93, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 27, 2019 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late John Foster and Stella McEntire Foster and was preceded in death by three husbands, Winiford Hope, Thomas Meachum and Bill Adams. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Betty Berry, Dorothy Hullender and John Foster Jr., and a step son, Harold Meachum. Martha was a member of Midview Baptist Church, where she sang with the "Golden Girls". She was dedicated to gardening, growing beautiful flowers and keeping her yard in pristine condition. Martha was very independent until her health faded. She retired from the Sadie Mill after many years of service. Martha was an avid dancer and continued going to dances until she was in her late eighties. She loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. Martha will be missed dearly by her loving family and friends.
